Is sleep dentistry safe?
Yes, we only work with experienced, medically qualified sedationists. Your health and comfort are our priority. Our practice has been endorsed by the Department of Health to provide this service. You will be looked after by a qualified sedationist, anaesthetist and nurse.
How long will I be sedated?
Depending on your treatment, sedation usually lasts 1–4 hours.
Can I drive home after?
No. You’ll need someone to take you home and stay with you for the next 24 hours.
Will I feel anything during the procedure?
Most patients report no pain and little or no memory of the procedure, especially under IV sedation or general anaesthetic.
